Yoga for bigger bodies

Yoga for Bigger Bodies is designed to bring yoga to those who feel that the traditional class setting is not providing the support and encouragement that is needed to feel successful in Yoga. This series is open to all shapes, ability levels and sizes. This is an inclusive and nonjudgmental class that emphasizes Health At Every Size, body acceptance and joyful movement. There is no weight requirement and everyone is welcome.

Julie created Yoga for Bigger Bodies in 2013 when she realized that many of her students were not receiving the support and encouragement they needed in a drop-in yoga class. Yoga for Bigger Bodies is apart of the Body Vulnerability™ cohort and has helped influence the growth of this project.

Body Vulnerability™ Immersions

Body Vulnerability™ workshops and immersions help build skills around supporting vulnerabilities in any setting. These workshops are designed as a 3, 7 or 15-hour training that help movement professionals work with bodies of all sizes and navigate our relationships to bodies, weight, food, and more.
